Operating Instructions
Read these operating instructions with care before you start using the compressor. Keep it at
a safe place for further use. This device may only be forwarded to third persons together with
the operating instructions.
Intended Use
The compressor is used for the generation of compressed air for tools powered by compressed air. Use the
device for its intended purpose only. Any further use is not deemed as intended use. The user / operator shall
assume the sole liability for any damage or injury resulting hereof.
This compressor is not designed for commercial, handicraft or industrial use.
General safety instructions
Attention! When using this compressor, the following basic safety instructions must be observed
in order to avoid electrical shocks, injury and fire. Read and observe these instructions before using the
device.
Keep your working area in good order.
Orderliness at the workplace is the prerequisite for a reduced risk
of accidents.
Take environmental influences into account.
Do not subject the compressor to rain. Do not use the
compressor in humid or wet environments. Provide good illumination. Do not use the compressor in the
vicinity of combustible liquids or gases.
Protect yourself against electrical shocks.
Avoid any body contact with grounded parts, e.g. pipes,
radiators, ovens, refrigerators.
Keep children away from the device!
Keep third persons away from your working area and make sure
that they do not touch the cable.
Store your compressor at a safe place.
Compressors not used must be stored at a dry and locked place
which is not accessible for children.
Do not overload your compressor.
Compressors have a better performance and are more reliable when
operated within the specified power range.
Wear appropriate working clothes.
Do not wear loose clothes or jewellery. They may be trapped in
moving parts. We recommend gloves and anti-slip shoes when working outdoors. Wear a hair net for long
hair.
Only use the cable for its intended purpose.
Do not pull the compressor by its cable, and do not use the
cable for unplugging the connector. Protect the cable against heat, oil and sharp edges.
Maintain your compressor with care.
Keep your compressor clean in order to ensure proper and safe
operation. Check the connector and cable on a regular basis, and have an acknowledged expert repair it in
case of damage. Check the extension cord on a regular basis and replace damaged ones.
Disconnect the power plug whenever you do not use the device as well as before maintenance and
tool change.
Avoid the unintended starting of the device.
Make sure that the switch is turned off when connecting the
device to the mains.
Extension cord for outdoor purposes.
Only use approved and adequately marked extension cords for
outdoor purposes.
Always pay attention.
Observe your operations. Act in a responsible way. Only use the compressor if you
are concentrated.
