5. Hammer-action drilling (Fig. 3/4)
Set your drill to hammer action for drilling into stone, concrete, bricks
and roof tiles etc.
Turn the hammer-action stop switch (6) with the arrow in position (d)
to switch on the hammer-action function.
Turn the turning stop switch (3) with the arrow in position (b) to switch
on the turning function.
NOTE: Observe the switch positions in the following table to
prevent damage to the drill or bit, or injury to yourself:

Only change the switch positions with your drill switched off.
6. Switching your drill on and off
To switch it on: squeeze the on/off trigger (5).
To switch it off: release the on/off trigger (5).
7. Dust collector (Fig. 5)
Before you start overhead work, position the dust collector (11) with
the opening towards the front above the bit. The dust will collect in
the inner chamber of the dust collector instead of falling onto the drill
or its user.
