Your pressure cooker comes fully assembled and is
ready to use.
1. WATER TO BE USED:
Every recipe given in the
Recipe Book (separately enclosed) includes adequate
quantity of liquid for cooking. When you ar
e trying
other recipes, make sure that there is adequate liquid
in the recipe for cooking. As a guideline, when you
are using the pressure cooker, a minimum quantity of
1 cup (7 oz.) water must be used for the first 5 minutes
of pressure cooking. In addition to this, for every
additional 5 minutes of cooking time set, add half cup
(3

oz.)of water extra. These quantities are in addition
to the liquid required for cooking foods like beans and
other cereals.
2. TIME SETTING:
Your electric pressure cooker takes
about 5 minutes to build pressure. The cooking times
to be set for recipes mentioned in our recipe book
(separately enclosed) include this additional time of 5
minutes. For recipes other than those given in our
recipe book, please add 5 minutes to the indicated time.
Note: These time setting instructions should be taken
only as a guideline. However you may experiment and
arrive at a suitable time based on the individual
preferences.
Your pressure cooker should not be filled mor
e than
two thirds it’s capacity for solids and half for liquids.
When cooking liquid foods, please use the quantity of
water as specified in recipes.
