PROBLEM
REASON
SOLUTION
b. The VPI has not dropped even
after long time (the VPI is stuck in
its position)
a. Normally it happens only when
there is excess build up of pressure
due to clogging of vent tube.
b. The gasket is very soft.
b. Keep the 2-way
safety button in the
“Close” position and
tap the lid gently
with the tip of a
knife/fork.
a. Press CLR/OFF
button. The display
will go to “00”. Wait
for the VPI to drop.
Remove the cooker
from the electric unit and open.
Take out the gasket. Clean the
gasket and the lid well. Clear the
vent tube hole and resume
cooking.
b. Replace with a new gasket.
8. The GRS operates (steam
escapes through the hole
on the lid near the GRS
slot).
