Geenneerraall
These installation and operating instructions describe the correct operation of the
high-performance reamer HPR400 plus. They provide information on how you
change and mount the indexable inserts. In addition, the most important safety
instructions for handling the high-performance reamer are explained (also re-
ferred to as the "tool" below).
Section 5 contains a detailed description of the in-
dividual functions and actions necessary to successfully change the indexable in-
serts.
The installation and operating instructions forms part of the tool and must be
stored in the immediate vicinity where it is accessible to the personnel at any
time. A basic precondition for safe working is compliance with all the safety pre-
cautions and instructions for working given in these installation and operating
instructions.
The local safety at work regulations and the general safety regulations for the
field of application of the hydraulic chuck must also be observed. Illustrations in
these installation and operating instructions are provided for general understand-
ing and may differ from the actual design.
