The HPR400 plus may only be used by trained, authorised and dependable spe-
cialist personnel. The specialist personnel must be able to recognise and avoid
hazards and for this purpose must have read this document before using the
high-performance reamer HPR400 plus.
The health and safety regulations, safety stipulations and instructions from the
machine manufacturer are familiar to the specialist personnel and are to be fol-
lowed and observed during operation of the tool.

The high-performance reamer HPR400 plus and its components are intended
only for cutting operations during manufacturing on machine tools in indus-
trial applications.
•
The high-performance reamer HPR400 plus and its components may only be
used when observance of all the information contained in this document is
assured.
•
If there is a maximum operating speed indicated on the tool, it must not be
exceeded.
•
Failure to observe these instructions can result in injuries or damage to ma-
chines and accessories for which MAPAL assumes no liability.

The tool or the tool assembly and additional components may only be used
in accordance with the official specifications, and the maximum operating
speed must not be exceeded.
•
The high-performance reamer HPR400 plus and associated components
must not be modified or used for any other applications.
•
Unauthorised modifications to the high-performance reamer HPR400 plus
and its components or use for other than the intended purpose will void all
warranty claims against MAPAL.
•
The manufacturer assumes no liability for accidents or damage resulting
from use for other than the correct use.

The warranty period is 2244 m
moonntthhss from the date of ex works delivery.
The tool, including all its components and accessories, must not be modified or
used for non-authorised applications. Any modification to the tool or any unau-
thorised use will void all warranty claims against MAPAL.
MAPAL expressly declines any liability for accidents or damage resulting from the
use of damaged tools or damaged machine parts. Wear parts are not covered by
the warranty.

The clamping or assembly of a tool and its components or the setting and in-
stallation on a machine tool by unqualified and/or unauthorised personnel can
result in hazardous situations.
Only trained, authorised and dependable specialist personnel may clamp, as-
semble and set tools and install them on a machine tool.
The specialist personnel must be able to recognise and avoid hazards.

Wear protective gloves when changing tools.

the tool can be damaged.
Do not place the tool on the cutting edges.
