Regardless of the choice, a dialog is displayed to define the data format. EasyBuilder’s RCP file is a flat, binary file
that contains only recipe data, with no formatting information. Therefore, the data format must be defined before the
RCP file can be opened or created. EasyBuilder-5000 is supplied with a sample Recipe application. Configuration
files for the Recipe Editor are also supplied.

To edit a recipe:
1. Click on the Data Format list, and select Example. The Set Data Format dialog will update. In the Address
Range fields, set the From field to 0 and the To field to 4999. Click on each item in the Data Format list for
details.
2. Click the
OK
button, and a File Open dialog will appear to select the RCP file to open. Select Example.rcp.
3. Click the
Open
button to load the file. The Recipe data is displayed in a spreadsheet-style window, and is
editable.
