Start-up
Base
A) Check the levelling of the machine by adjusting the levelling
feet.
B) Remove the carrying handles.

C) Remove the safety plates at the back and on the right side.
D) Mount the handles X and Y on their drive axes (only for ta-
bles with manual drives).
E) Screw the measuring rule cables to the MCA-190 and con-
nect it to the computer. Connect the 110/220V plug to the
mains. Turn on the switch if there is one.
Introduction
A "Premium" system is used to optically measure an object in XYZ.
Its X-Y table is used to move, and therefore measure the object in relation to the optics.
Its Z column is primarily used to adjust the sharpness of the optics. Using this function, you can
also focus on a point at the highest magnification, move the table to another location, focus again.
The difference in Z coordinates then gives a height measurement. The accuracy of this measure-
ment depends directly on the depth of field of the optics.
Its optics is used to capture measurement points.
The various software available are used to interpret, by comparison or measurement, the data
entered.
