Understanding the Interface Reading
To accurately measure an interface, your tank’s contents must achieve full separation with a
minimum of 3 inches of measurable content for both materials. An interface reading in a
turbulent tank environment will result in an unstable or inaccurate reading.
The equipment always measures from the bottom of the tank to the top.
The interface reading is from the bottom of the tank to the first level.
The level reading is from the bottom of the tank to the to the top level, or the tank’s total
volume.
Recommended Placement
The Display is a NEMA 4 (IP66), weatherproof, polycarbonate enclosure. Please contact us
for any custom bracket or mounting requirements.
Common placement in a truck installation is the driver side floorboard.
If mounting outdoors, or to exterior of truck, consider mounting in a toolbox.
Never mount in an area with heavy moisture or tire spray.
Ensure the display is mounted securely. DO NOT over torque fasteners!
