TANKOPTIX FLEX - REV 1.2

Powering System

AA Battery

If powering the device through AA batteries use lithium batteries ONLY.  Observe
correct polarity.  Always replace all 6 batteries together.  Servicing the AA batteries
requires opening of the control panel.  Failure to properly re-seal control panel may
result in damage to the system and void the warranty.  NEVER connect external power
when device is battery powered!

For extended life and optimal performance in extreme weather conditions it is

recommended to use Energizer or Duracell Ultimate Lithium Batteries.

Power Adapter  (120V)

If powering the device through a standard outlet, simply connect the power adapter to
the power connection on the control panel, and plug into any standard 120v outlet.

Power Leads  (12V)

For truck installations or solar panel connections, a power lead quick-connect will be
provided.  For truck installation please follow directions below.

Before Continuing!

Ensure all components are properly connected.

Re-connect vehicle battery.

Ensure the system powers and displays a reading.
