Assembly
Note: Since all joints have seals, it is not necessary to over-tighten the nuts. Plastic
parts could be damaged. The enclosed Teflon tape is used to complete sealing
procedure.
Note:
To assemble, you will need a Phillips or flat-bladed screwdriver, Allen key 10.
1. Installation of the drain fitting in the container
Insert the threaded counterpart through the drain hole of the container from
the inside (FIG. 1.1). Place the seal on the protruding thread and screw on the
socket (FIG. 1.2). Insert a sieve against sand leakage into it. Push the sieve in by
screwing in the plug with the O-ring seal (FIG. 1.3). Manual tightening is suffici-
ent to seal the joints. Using pliers can damage parts.
1. A For a 10L container with a discharge spout, proceed as follows:
Insert the drain sieve through the drain hole of the container from the inside
(FIG. 1.4). Screw the plug with seal (FIG. 1.5) onto the threaded discharge spout.
Manual tightening is sufficient to seal the joints. Using pliers can damage parts.
