Replace the UVC bulb and clean the glass
– Disconnect the power supply plug of the light.
– Switch off the filtration device, and protect it from being unintentional switched
on again.
– Press the safety lever, and turn the head of the lighting device in the direction
indicated by the arrow until it is in the upper position.
– The quartz glass can now be cleaned.
– Unscrew the retaining bolt counterclockwise, and remove the casing of the quartz
glass with the O-ring using a light rotational motion.
– Remove the UVC bulb, and replace it. The UVC bulb can be inserted such that
it can be set in any position. The rubber strip on the original UVC bulb is for
protection during transport and does not need to be re-positioned. Because of
the built-in safety switch, the UVC light passes only through the quartz glass, so
clean it and check it for damage.
– Remove the O-Ring from the quartz glass, clean it and check it for damage.
– Clean the quartz glass casing from the outer side using a damp cloth. Check the
casing of the quartz glass for damage before inserting it back in.
