3. 6017 as the first Booster: Set switch 3 of the 4 coding
switches to “ON”. Plug in the power transformer. Use
only the corresponding Märklin plugs. (Already installed
at the factory on the 60052/60055 transformer, the
966181/966191 transformer from the starter sets, and
on the 610 718 connecting cable).
4. Plug in the Booster

Caution: Pay atten-
tion to the position
of the plugs.
Connect-6017 and
6017 Booster:
The cable goes up.
6015 Booster: The cable goes down (!).
If several Boosters are being used, each one of these
will be connected in turn with the multi-pin connecting
cable to the socket on the Booster, which has just been
connected to the system.
Caution! Also pay attention here to the correct position
of the plugs.
5. Plug the power cords for the transformers into the
household current.
Operating Notes:
1. The Central Station is switched to “Stop”:
=> The Connect-6017 also switches the Boosters off
(LED pilot lights off).
The Central Station is switched to “Go”:
=> The Connect-6017 switches the Boosters back on
(LED pilot lights on).
2. Short circuit or an overload in the Connect 6017 area
of the layout:
Only the Connect-6017 switches off (LED pilot lights
off). The Central Station remains on!
To turn the Connect-6017 on again:
1. Find and correct the cause of the short circuit /
overload.
2. Press the “Stop” button on the Central Station.
3. Press the “Go” button on the Central Station.
3. Mfx locomotives in the Connect-6017 area of the
layout cannot send data to the Central Station.
Reprogramming of these locomotives can therefore
not be done in this area of the layout.
