Attaching the throttle cable
Remove the nut from the air filter cover (Figure 6) and then the nut that holds the air filter in place (Figure 7).
The throttle lever needs to be pushed all the way away from the operator (Figure 8). Make sure that the engines
throttle lever is in the closed position and insert the cable under the keeper, inserting the “Z” bend cable into the
small throttle lever hole. (Figure 9). Tighten the keeper.
Attaching the electrical wires
Attach the two red wires to the wiretaps near the engine’s on/off switch (Figure 10). Attach the two black
wires to the wire studs under the valve cover. (Figure 11).
