Automated EQ Low
8.5.1
Speed
The Speed parameter determines the speed with
which the algorithm changes its gain.
8.5.2
Delta Gain
The Delta Gain parameter determines the offset to the
Target Volume needed for the algorithm to start
altering the gain. E.g. when the Delta Gain is set to 3,
the input RMS volume has be more than 3dB over or
under the Target Volume for the algorithm to change
the gain.
8.5.3
Delta
T
The Delta T co-operates with the Delta Gain parameter.
This means that the difference between the Input volume and the Target Volume has to be
larger than Delta Gain for a Delta T amount of time before the algorithm starts altering the
gain. E.g. When Delta Gain is set to 3dB and Delta T is set to 2 seconds, then the difference
between the Input Volume and the Target Volume has to be more than 3dB for at least 2
seconds before the algorithm starts altering the gain.
8.5.4
Min RMS
The Min RMS parameter determines the threshold in volume before the algorithm starts
working. When the input volume is below this value the volume will be set to 0dB. This is
necessary in case there are breaks in the music or when the DJ makes an extreme cut on
his EQ, we don’t want the algorithm to compensate for this but instead just go back to 0 dB.

Max Gain
The Maximum amount of Gain the algorithm is allowed to boost the EQ gain.

Min Gain
