OPERATION
Before igniting after assembly, proceed to a leak test as explained on page 5.
TO LIGHT-UP
1. Open valve at gas tank.
2. From OFF position, depress and turn counter-clockwise control knob to the
position.
3. While depressing control knob, press and hold the continuous spark ignition button to light up burner.
4. When flame is visible, keep control knob depressed for 30 seconds.
If ignition fails to light burner after 5 seconds, release control knob, turn to OFF and wait 5 minutes.
If gas hose is connected for the first time or to a refilled tank, it may take a few seconds to empty its air
and allow gas to reach the burner.
5. Release control knob, burner flame should stay lit. If not, repeat steps 1 to 4 or you may light with a match.
6. Turn control knob to HI for full intensity.
TO TURN OFF
1. Push and turn control knob clockwise to OFF.
2. Turn off valve at gas tank.
Problem:
Situation:
You will need to do the following:
Burner flame will not stay on.
Orifice blocked.
Loose connection.
Thermocouple failed.
Gas leak in line.
Lack of fuel pressure.
► Clean spider web or other blockage, or replace orifice.
► Check all fittings.
► Replace thermocouple.
► Turn tank off. Wait 5 minutes.
Check fuel line connections.
Reinsert regulator tighten firmly and retry.
► Nearly empty fuel tank.
Burner flame will not light.
Cylinder valve may be OFF.
LPG tank empty.
Pressure is low.
Control not ON.
Orifice blocked.
► Open valve at cylinder. Turn cylinder valve in
counter-clockwise direction.
► Refill LP-Gas tank.
► Tank is near empty.
► Depress and turn control knob to ON.
► Remove and clean out orifice or replace.
Igniter does not work.
Electrode might have
accumulated black soot.
► Light the burner manually or clean the electrode,
check wire connections and retry.
TROUBLESHOOTING
