Installation
5.
Check the belt cleaner for the following points:
•
Wear and tear: a little wear and tear is normal, as soon as
the cleaner blades have got adjusted to the contour of the
conveyor belt, this stops happening.
•
Bulk material accumulation: no bulk material should get
accumulated between the cleaner blades and the return
side.
6.
If the wear and tear or bulk material accumulation is excessive
or other problems occur, refer to the information in chapter 5.4
"Installation check-list" or chapter 7 "Troubleshooting".

Installation - Check-list
If after operation with loading the conveyor belt cleaner does not
work as expected, then the “Installation Check-List” table in the fol-
lowing could help to find and solve the problem. If problems persist,
see chapter 7 "Troubleshooting":
Installation - Check-list
The primary cleaner should be installed on both sides according
to the measurements in chapter 5.2 onwards.
The primary cleaner is installed in the correct position and all
critical installation measurements are adhered to.
The cleaner blades are aligned with the centre of the conveyor
belt and/or head pulley.
