The Boards View

The Boards view is displayed when starting GTXI-Config, when
selecting the Boards command from the View menu, or when
selecting the Boards button from the toolbar as shown here:
This view displays the board number, the corresponding base
address, the board type (buffer or extender), and an optional board
description.
To make changes or additions to this configuration, proceed as
follows:
1.
Address
– In the drop-down list box, select the board’s
hexadecimal address range. Available ranges are 178H-17BH,
17CH-17FH, 578H-57BH and 57CH-57FH. If no buffer or
bridge board is present, this field value is ‘None’.
2.
Type
– Type is detected automatically. This can be buffer
extender, or blank. If using the GTXI as a bus expansion unit,
then the “Extender” board is shown. If using the GTXI with a
GTPC module, then “Buffer” board is shown.
3.
Description
– Enter an optional description.
