1. Only one carrier board can use a given offset address. If A8 is
used, two boards can be in the same offset. They must not
reside in the same address group: 200h-2FFh and 300h-3FFh.
2. For offset address n000H A11EN and A11 should be Off, if
address n800H is to be used.
3. If A11 is not enabled (set to “OFF”), then a carrier using
address n000H is also occupying address n800H.
For convenience it is recommended that the ISA carrier slot number
multiplied by 1000H be used as the offset (slot#1 offset 1000H,
etc.). This will result in the use of 1000H through A000H for the
GTXI-700 and 1000H through 9000H for the GT7700.
