Getting the Kit working
1.
Plug the RS232 cable between J2 on the CPU MCAM335x and a PC serial interface (DTE)
2.
Download any PC terminal program. Mas Elettronica suggests using Putty.
3.
Set PC terminal Software parameters
a.
Baud Rate: 115200
b.
Data: 8 Bit
c.
Parity: None
d.
Stop bit: 1
e.
Flow Control: None
4.
Plug the wall adapter’s pin into the MDVKIT7P Power IN jack and to a 120VAC~240VAC power source.
5.
Press the power on Button of the MDVKIT7P.
6.
Boot messages are printed within PC’s terminal window.
7.
TI Linux shell will appear on the screen after 45 seconds.
