Lower the machine slowly.
Do not allow it to drop violently on to the ground. To do
this would strongly stress all the machine components

4.15 USEFUL ADVICE FOR
THE TRACTOR DRIVER
The following are some useful suggestions for problems
which might arise during work.
Excessive cutting of the product to be sheared
- Slightly raise the machine from the ground, adjusting the
height with the wheels (the shredder must not touch the
ground with the blades).
- Increase the forward speed.
Scant cutting of the product to be sheared
- Slightly lower the machine to the ground.
- Reduce forward speed.
- Do not work on ground that is too damp.
Clogging of the rotor
- Ground too wet to work.
- Raise the machine from the ground.
- Reduce forward speed.
- Avoid working in presence of very tall grass. Eventually
clean away what has collected on sides of rotor in order
to prevent excessive overheating.
Clogging in the rotor compartment
- Soil too wet. Very tall grass.
- Stop the engine.
- Make sure that all moving parts are at a standstill.
- Thoroughly clean all the accumulated material from the
rotor compartment with an adequate tool.
