Keep the DC/DC converter clean and dry for optimum performance.  

It is recommended that the DC/DC converter be kept clean and dry and that its fault history file be 
checked and cleared periodically. 

Periodically cleaning the DC/DC converter exterior will help protect it against corrosion and possible 
electrical control problems created by the dirt, grime, and chemicals that are part of the operating 
environment. 

5.5  VEHCILE CLEANING

If pressure washing vehicle read and understand all instructions supplied by the 

manufacturer of the pressure washer, and do not use pressure in excess of 600 psi when washing exterior of 
vehicle. Use of excessive pressure may cause damage to the operator, bystanders or to parts of the vehicle 
including body finish, seat coverings, seals and the electrical system.

Use water and a clean soft cloth to clean the vehicle windshield. 

•

Use a mild soap solution to clean vinyl and plastic components, including the body of the vehicle. Apply 
solution with a soft brush or cloth and dry with a clean soft cloth. A commercially available vinyl/plastic 
cleaner may be used to remove stains such as oils or tar from vinyl/plastic surfaces. 

•

Occasional washing and then waxing of the vehicle with non-abrasive waxing products designed for use 
with automotive clear coat finishes is recommended to preserve the appearance of painted surfaces. 

 
5.6  PERIODIC VEHICLE MAINTENANCE 
 

This vehicle will give years of satisfactory service, providing it is properly maintained. Refer to the Periodic 
Service Schedule for appropriate service intervals. Servicing of the steering assembly, pedal assemblies, tie 
rods and linkages, rear axle, suspension and wheel bearings should be performed by an authorized MASSIMO 
dealer or qualified technician. Any service activity that requires lifting of the vehicle should be performed by an 
authorized  MASSIMO dealer or qualified technician.

The Periodic Service Schedule has been developed for average vehicle use. If a vehicle Is 

used under severe driving, environmental or loading conditions, more frequent servicing is recommended.
