Alternatively, the dust extraction

adaptor (8) can be fitted to the dust

extraction port (7) to allow a dust

extraction system or a suitable

vacuum cleaner to be connected to

the tool for a cleaner and safer work

area. (Fig. 5)
Always keep the dust extraction

holes in the sanding base (6) free of

obstructions.

“POWER-ON INDICATOR” LIGHT

(Fig.6)

The tool has a “POWER-ON

INDICATOR” red light. This red light

is always on when the tool is plugged

into a power source.

OPERATION

SWITCHING ON AND OFF (Fig.7)

Connect the plug to a suitable power

source.
Always lift the sander from the work

before switching on or switch off.
To turn the sander on, push the on/off

slide switch (1) forward. To stop the

sander, push the on/off slide switch

(1) backward.

SELECTING THE RIGHT GRADE OF SANDPAPER

Different grades of sandpaper can be purchased from the store where you

purchased the tool. Available grades are: Coarse, Medium and Fine.
Use a coarse grit to sand down rough finishes, medium grit to smooth the

work and fine grit to finish off.
It is best to make a trial run on a scrap piece of material to determine the

optimum grades of sanding sheet for a particular job.
