If, after use, it is necessary to store or to transport the hose reel , all parts containing liquid must be
carefully emptied. Apply caps on each hole in order to avoid accidental leakage during movement.
•
During this operation smoking is forbidden, wearing anti-oil gloves is compulsory and operating near
naked flames is not allowed.
•
The liquid must be poured into a suitable container and disposed of in compliance with current
legislation.
Maintenance
WARNING: before starting any maintenance operation on the hose reel make
sure that the following operations are carried out:
•
Turn air, water, oil and grease tap off.
•
Release spring tension as follows:
WARNING : This operation must be carried out by qualified staff.
•
Insert suitable key ( ram ½ ) in the square hole of
the support

•
Hold key firmly and unscrew screws

which fasten the support.
•
Hold key firmly and rotate the support counterclockwise for 3-5 turns.
•
Screw screws

back on the support.
•
Instruction to replace spring and gaskets of the revolving device are enclosed to the spare parts
package.
•
WARNING : This operation must be carried out by qualified staff.
•
Clean hose regularly.
•
CARRY OUT THE FOLLOWING OPERATIONS AT LEAST ONCE EVERY 12 MONTHS.
•
Check that spring rewinds hose correctly.
•
Check that gaskets of rotating seal joint and pipe fitting do not leak.
•
Check that hose is not worn out or cut.
•
Check efficiency of hose stop.
•
Check wall fixing brackets.
•
Take special care of bolts and test tightening.
Operating problems - solutions
The hose does not rewind completely
The spring – loading is insufficient.
Take out hose and while rewinding make sure that
hose is positioned in an uniform manner in the
drum
If the problem continues consult the manufacturer .
