(you may lose the call you are engaged in).

communicate in direct mode
(see Direct Menu chapter).
In an emergency, to make a direct mode emergency call:

Your request to talk in the open channel or talkgroup
is refused because of network congestion.

3- the display indicates (Terminal in Group call mode)
Network resources are being used for other calls.
• Try again
later.
4- the terminal displays "OPEN CHANNEL"
