When the panel is expecting a button press the applicable buttons will flash. For example if a most significant
10s output digit button is pressed then the least significant output buttons (X0 – X9) will flash. The current
operation will be canceled after 10 seconds, if no valid button is pressed. Operations can also be canceled
immediately by pressing a non-applicable button (for example pressing an output button when an input button is
expected or visa versa).
1.3.1 Audio Breakaway
Audio break aways are indicated by flashing 10s digit button and/or a 1s digit button. For example: if the
current destination is connected to video source 8 and audio source 14 then the source 0X and X8 buttons will
be lit solid, while the 1X and X4 buttons will flash.
To perform a switch of video only (primary level) press the current active (lit) most significant digit output
button, which will flash. The current selected video source is indicated on the top row of buttons by lighting the
applicable most and least significant buttons. Selecting a new source is accomplished by pressing most
significant and/or least significant source buttons, which will switch the video only.
To perform a switch of audio only (secondary level) press the current active (lit) least significant digit output
button, which will flash. The current selected audio source is indicated on the top row of buttons by lighting the
applicable most and least significant buttons. Selecting a new source is accomplished by pressing most
significant and/or least significant source buttons, which will switch the audio only.
1.4 Web Page Interface
All Matrix Switch Corporation router and panel devices come with a built-in web page interface.
This interface is used for configuring this panel device.
Devices come factory configured with default settings, unless a pre-configuration request is made during
purchase, an example being a multi device application.
1.4.1 Accessing The Web Page Interface
The default network IP address for this device is 192.168.2.64. Refer to the table below for the default IP
addresses for other types of Matrix Switch Corporation devices.

To access the web page interface of the device:
1. Connect the Ethernet port of a computer either directly to the device using a crossover cable to the same
Ethernet network through a network switch or other LAN infrastructure.
2. Manually configure the computer's IP address to be a
unique
address on the same IP subnet as the
