9.11 CONSOLE KEYPAD / OVERLAY REPLACEMENT - CONTINUED
CHAPTER 9: PART REPLACEMENT GUIDE

6) Remove the 6 screws holding the UCB to the console and remove it (Figure F & G).
7) Peel the backing off of the new keypad and slide the ribbon cable through the slot in the console faceplate (Figures H & I).
8) Plug the ribbon cable into the UCB, and remount the UCB to the console faceplate (Figure J).
NOTE:
If any cables were removed during
Step 6, be sure to plug them back in.
9) Carefully line up the new keypad to the outline in the console faceplate. Once it is in place, press down on the keypad so that the adhesive
on the keypad bonds to the console (Figure K).
