Matrix ETERNITY NE System Manual
When the VMS transfers a call, it plays different voice messages, informing the caller about the status of the called
party, asking the caller to leave a message. By default, the VMS plays the following messages to You may choose
whether or not the VMS should play the following messages to the caller:

Call could not be Attended Message:
This message is played to the caller when the called party does
not answer the transferred call.
•
Called Party Busy Message:
This message is played to the caller with the called party is found to be
busy.
•
Called Party Not Available Message:
This message is played to the caller when the called party does not
•
Leave Message:
This message is played to the caller. If you disable this option, the VMS will not offer the
caller the option of leaving a message for the extension user

Message Verification:
This message is played to the caller after they have recorded their message. If you
disable this option, the VMS will not give the caller the option of verifying the recorded message.

If you have completed configuring the VMS General Parameters, click

to save changes.
