the cable from the receptacle with the plug.
Protect the cable from oil, heat, and sharp edges.
Damaged cables can cause an electric shock.
Check the device and power cable for damage
before starting work.
When plugging in the power plug, make sure that
the operating switch is not located in position.
Only use approved extension cables when using
the device outside.
When using a cable drum, unwind it entirely in
order to prevent the cable from heating up. The
minimum wire gauge is 1.5 mm2.
When working outside, the receptacle must be
equipped with a residual current circuit-breaker.
Pull the plug when you are not using the device or
making adjustments.
Always guide the cable away from the back of the
tool.
- Place the shredder stably on a flat and firm sub-
surface.
- Never use the device without safety equipment

no foreign bodies in the material to be shred-
ded.
- Keep the ventilation slits clean when working.
- Warning! The blades continue to run for a short
time after the device has been switched off.

Assembly
- With the motor housing upside down, place the
chassis on the guides and fasten with a spring
washer and an Allen screw.
- Push the axle through the chassis and spacing
tube.
- Put on the left and right wheels.
- Secure with a flat washer and split-pin. Bend the
split-pin open.
- Place the wheel cover onto the wheel supports
and press until they lock into place on the wheel.
Motor Brake
- For your safety, the drive motor is equipped with
a safety motor brake.
- After pressing the safety switch, the motor and
blades will come to a standstill within 5 seconds.
Overload Protection

off. The overload switch display shows 0. After
approximately 1 minute the overload switch can
be pressed again if the motor has cooled down.
After pressing the on/off switch, the shredder
continues to run.
Working with the MATRIX Shredder
- Always wear gloves, ear protection, and safety
goggles.
- The material to be shredded is automatically
drawn into the feed hopper.
Warning: Long pieces of material can hit like a
whip. Always keep a safe distance away.
- Don’t feed in too much material. Mix fresh and
old cut material. That way the shredder dischar-
ge remains clean.
- Completely shred leafy and branchy material
before feeding in new material.
- Always keep the ejector opening clean and free.
Service and Maintenance
- Before performing any work on the equipment,
pull the power plug.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the plastic elements.
Do not use any cleansers, solvents, or pointed
