Select the
Enable Device
check box. Default: Disabled.

Enter the
Location Name
for the phone to identify the phone. Location name may be the place where the
phone is located (e.g. Head office, branch, residence).
The Location Name may consist of 18 characters
(maximum). Default: Blank.

Select
MATRIX SPARSH MS
as the
Device Type
at this location. It is applicable irrespective of the actual
type of Soft-phone client (SPARSH MS or SPARSH M2S) you want to register.

Enter the
MAC Address/IMEI Number/ESN Number
of the Soft-phone client device (applicable to
Android handsets or tablets).
If you are using an iPhone, enter the
Device ID
here. The Device ID can be obtained from the iPhone
application’s
Settings
option

NAVAN validates Matrix SPARSH Mobile Soft-phone clients on the basis of this unique identifier (that is
based on the
MAC Address/IMEI Number/ESN Number
or the
Device ID
), and provides configuration on
validation.
As NAVAN allows registration of SIP Extensions from three different locations, it identifies the Soft-phone
client device at each location by this unique identifier.
6.
Select the appropriate
Internal Registrar Server Address
to register the Matrix SPARSH Mobile Soft-
phone Client with the SIP Registrar of NAVAN within a private network. Select the appropriate option as
per your installation scenario:
