In
Basic Rates
, select the rate at which data is transmitted by the AP.
•
In
Transmission Rates (b&g)
, select the rate of data transmission to define the speed of b and g
network modes.
•
In
Beacon Interval
, enter the interval value (msec) of transmitting a beacon frame. Default: 100 msec.
•
In
DTIM Interval
, enter the interval value of the Delivery Traffic Indication Message (DTIM). Default: 3
msec. The system informs the Client that there is a data packet for it and needs to come and fetch it.
•
In
Fragmentation Threshold
, set the threshold value of the data packet, after this value the packet will
be fragmented into multiple packets. Default: 2346 bytes.
•
Select the
CTS Protection Mode
check box to prevent collisions between the packets while the data
transmission to your AP occurs in heavy traffic.
•
If you have enabled
CTS Protection Mode,
set the
RTS Threshold
value to control the
inconsistent data flow. Default: 2346 bytes.
•
Click
Submit
button to save your settings. This completes the preparation as well as configuration for
setting up a wireless network.
Checking the Wi-Fi Connectivity Status
After you have completed the set up and configuration for your WiFi, follow steps:

On the left navigation bar, Click
Status
.
•
Click
Wireless LAN.
The details of the connected Wi-Fi devices and the number of clients connected are displayed. For
