9 Voltage Shift Option
The DOEF voltage shift option allows a unit to output within a voltage range of -115V to +115V with a maximum
width of 120Vp-p (minimum width 25Vp-p). (Supported with 60V model only).
Setting the voltage limit protection (Vlim) determines the output voltage range of the voltage shift.
Products with the voltage shift option differ from products without the option in voltage and
current limit protection values and DC voltage settings and ranges.
These settings and ranges are shown in this section.
9-1 Output Voltage Range and Settings
When the output voltage is shifted, set the positive voltage limit protection in the range of +115.0V to
+5.0V and the negative one in the rage of -5.0V to -115.0V.
The maximum width of the shifted voltage varies at 120Vp-p.
Ex.: When Vlim+ is set to +115.0V, the Vlim- setting changes to a minimum of -5.0V.
The minimum width of the voltage can be set up to 25Vp-p.
Ex.: When Vlim+ is set to +5.0V, Vlim- can be set up to a minimum of -20.0V.
9-2 Limiting Output Current
The output voltage range affects the output current range.
In the case of a 60V model, it can output up to 100% of the rated current at 60V or lower output voltage,
but it can only output up to 50% of the rated current at 115V output voltage.

When the voltage limit protection (Vlim) is increased to 60V or more, the maximum value of the current
limit protection (Ilim) is automatically decreased to limit the output current.
This means that when the voltage limit protection (Vlim) exceeds 60 V, the maximum value and range of
current limit protection (Ilim) that can be set will change.
Ex.: When Vlim+ is set at +60V, the setting range of Ilim+ is 0.1A to rating x 110%.
Ex.: When Vlim+ is set to +115V, the setting range of Ilim+ is 0.1 A to rating x 60%.
Ex.: When Vlim- is set to -115V, the setting range of Ilim- is -0.1A to rating x -60%.
