7-1-3 Applications for Synchronous Trigger
A) Synchronous operation using the communication option
Synchronous operation is also available using the communication option. Similar to the OUTPUT
switch operation, The synchronous master unit is also operated via communication.
It is also available to synchronize only the synchronous master unit via communication (in the remote
control state), while the synchronous slave units can synchronize in the local control state without
communication.
On communication, the synchronous master unit and the synchronous slave units need to be set up
with the TRIG command.
B) Synchronous operation using the LS (remote switch)
Synchronous operation is also available using the LS.
Enable the LS setting on the synchronous
master unit before operating it.
In synchronous slave units, be sure to set the LS setting to "DEN (Disabled)".
C
)
Sequence operation and Synchronous operation
Sequence operation is also possible to start/stop simultaneously.
It is also possible to run mixed operations such as one in normal operation and the other in sequence
operation.
When using both sequence operation and the synchronous trigger function, set the synchronous
trigger before entering Sequence Set.
In addition, when the synchronous master unit performs sequence operation, the off state of the
output varies depending on the end setting of the sequence operation.
1. In the case where the end setting of the synchronous master unit is off:
As the synchronous master unit turns off its output when the sequence ends, the synchronous
slave units also turn off its output.
2. In the case where the end setting of the synchronous slave units is HOLD:
Since the output of the synchronous master unit is not turned off when the sequence operation is
completed, so the synchronous slave units continue to output.
D) Fault occurring
If a fault occurs during output turned on, the behavior depends on the setting of the synchronous
trigger.
1. In the case where a fault occurred in the synchronous master unit:
All connected synchronous slave units are also turned off.
Remove the factors that caused the fault on the synchronous master unit and clear the fault.
2. In the case where a fault occurred on a synchronous slave unit:
The output of the synchronous slave unit that the fault occurred on is only turned off.
Remove the factors that caused the fault on the synchronous master unit and clear the fault.
