The definitions of the values of the remaining fields may be changed. These are follows:
Console I/O
Defines the status of COM 1.
Enable
value (default value) means that access to all
MediaRacer® Service Software options and Application
Log Screen are enabled and visible. Selection of the
Enable
value will not permit the connection of any other
devices to the COM 1 port to be active. Change the
value of this filed to
Disable
if you intend to connect
other devices to COM 1.
Note:
When the
Disable
option is selected while the unit
is booting, press the spacebar to automatically enable
“Console I/O” to display MediaRacer® Service
Software main menu”.
Default Baud
Defines the baud rate of the COM 1 unit (for console
connection only). This value should be identical to the
Bits per second value defined in the Hyper Terminal
application port setting window.
BIST
When this option is enabled (disabled by default), it
starts the self test of the MediaRacer® 1000 unit during
start-up. Self test will not be performed by the
MediaRacer® 100 unit when the Disable value is
selected.
Boot timeout (sec)
Defines the timeout interval (in seconds) during which
pressing the space bar displays the MediaRacer®
Service Software main menu. The manufacturer default
value is 3 seconds.
