The only activity permitted in this case is loading the status.txt file from the MediaRacer®
100 unit to the PC. Click the
Get
button.
The status.txt file contains data concerning the MediaRacer® 100 unit and its Built-In
Tests (BIST) results. An example of this file is shown in Fig. 5-14.

RESETTING & CONTROLLING THE OPERATION MODE
Use the Remote Configuration Tool to set the parameters for the MediaRacer® 100 unit
operation mode (Application, Update Flash or Maintenance) and rebooting of the unit.
When the Remote Configuration Main Window appears (Fig. 5-15) in the
Local File
Name
field, enter the name of the status file – reset.txt – its directory path and folder.
Alternatively, click on the Browse button, located to the right of the field, to access the
folder and select the file from the displayed list.
Type your username and password in the
User
and
Password
fields in the same way that
they were entered during the configuration process. If there is an error in the username or
password, it will not be possible to carry out the required update. In the
MediaRacer® IP
field, enter the IP Address of the MediaRacer® 100 unit in which you want to update the
operation mode.
