EDIT OR MODIFY LYRICS FILES
lyrics files can be created, modified and saved with the microsoft
®
Windows editor. this tool can
be found in start > Programs > tools. you may need this to optimize e.g. the synchronizing of
lyrics files.

open or start a new lyrics file e.g. “happymusic.lrc“ in the editor program.
type in a text like the following:
[00:00] haPPy musIc
[00:17] I‘m happy
[00:19] listening to music
[00:25] and lying in the sun

each line defines the beginning time of the appropriate part of the songtext.
PlEasE NOTE:
each line in this file has to be formatted as below:
[MM:SS]<Space>Text
MM
minute
SS
second
<Space>
space character
Text
songtext/lyrics which begins to be sung in the appropriate second [mm:ss]
For the above sample the first two lines have the following meaning:
[00:00]
song title “happy music“, will be displayed until second 17 of the song on the screen
[00:17]
First line of the appropriate song text (indicated after a space character)
after 17 seconds of pure music.

change the songtext which is meant to appear on your player‘s display or the indicated time
for the beginning of the appropriate text lines depending on what is intended to be modified.

save the edited or modified lyrics file.
PlEasE NOTE:
It is required to save your lyrics files with the extension *.lrc instead of *.txt!
however, you may edit the file extension in Windows explorer later on.
