TRANSPORTATION
Make sure the battery has been suitably packed before transportation.
The battery must be carefully handled during transportation.
Prevent the battery from suffering shocks and do not press on the box.
Do not subject the battery to vibrations or extreme temperatures during transportation.
Do not transport the battery together with inflammable or explosive products, nor products with
protruding corners or sharp edges.
Any damage incurred during transportation must be immediately reported to both the transporter
and the distributor, and the original box must be kept in case of inspections.
LEGAL GUARANTEE
The legal guarantee for MAXTOOLS batteries covers all private customers and is valid for 24 months
from the date of placing on the market, in compliance with the current European regulations and as
provided for by the Consumer Code.
The guarantee shall only be valid if transportation, storage assembly, installation, placing in service,
functioning and maintenance of the products have been correctly carried out in compliance with
the user manual provided.
The guarantee does not apply in the following cases:
• The battery has been damaged by excessively high voltage or current while charging.
• The battery has been damaged by over-discharge or by excessively heavy usage.
• The battery has undergone damage due to a short circuit, an impact, a fall, immersion in water etc.
• The battery has been damaged during natural or man-made events such as floods or car
accidents.
• The battery has been damaged by a defective charging system.
• The battery was used for purposes other than the recommended ones, that is, not for starting
motorcycles or similar vehicles.
• The battery has been exposed to temperatures above 55°C.
LIABILITIES
The manufacturer, importer and distributor are not liable for any damages caused to items and
goods being used for any purposes other than those authorized by the present instructions.
