Propulsion
Engines
The owner’s packet contains detailed engine operation and mainte-
nance manuals. Read and understand these manuals before operating
or performing maintenance to the engines.
Engine Room Ventilation System
•
The bilge blowers remove fumes from the engine room and draw
fresh air into the compartment through the deck vents.
•
Run the bilge blowers for at least four minutes before starting the
engines, or the optional generator.
•
Keep the blowers running during starting, and while operating
your yacht below cruising speed.
Exhaust System
The exhaust system is designed to keep water out of the engines in most sea conditions, however, do not anchor the
stern to sea or shut engines off if the seas are too high.

Operation of the blower system is not a guarantee that explosive fumes have been removed.
If you smell any fuel, do not start the engines. If the engines are already running, immedi-
ately shut off the engines and all electrical accessories and investigate.

Do not obstruct or modify the ventilation system.

Always use good seamanship and consider the sea conditions
before anchoring or shutting off the engines.
