•
The iron must not be left unattended while it is con-
nected to the supply mains;
•
The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet
before the water reservoir is filled with water (for
steam irons and irons incorporating means for
spraying water);
•
The filling aperture must not be opened during use.
Instructions for the safe refilling of the water reser-
voir shall be given (for pressurized steam irons);
•
Attention! The unit surfaces get hot during its op-
eration. Do not let open skin areas contact with iron
hot surfaces or outgoing steam to avoid burns.
•
Pour out water from the tank only after unplugging
the iron.
•
The iron must be used and rested on a stable sur-
face;
•
When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the
surface on which the stand is placed is stable;
•
The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if
there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking;
•
Keep the iron and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years of age when it is energized or cool-
ing down;
•
Children from 8 years old and disabled persons can
use the unit only when they are under supervision of
a person who is responsible for their safety and who
has given them all the necessary and understand-
able instructions on use of the unit in a safe way
and information about danger that can be caused
by improper usage of the unit.
