repair. Wait 10 minutes for glue to set. Then apply a second thin layer of glue to both
the patch and the boat as well. Wait another 8 minutes for glue to set. Then apply a 3rd
very thin layer of glue to both the patch and the boat. Let sit for 5 minutes (don’t allow
it to completely dry) and then firmly place patch on the damaged area. Apply patch
so that all air bubbles will be forced out of the patch. Wait 10 minutes, and then inflate
the chamber very slightly, just so the patched portion of the boat is lifted away from
any other side of the boat, assuring both do not get glued together. Use a weight to
apply 3

5 lbs of pressure for 24 hours. After the patch has dried, apply glue around the

edges for a complete seal (then let dry an additional 12 hours).

Stowing the XPW Watercraft

When not using the watercraft for an extended period, always stow it dry and in an
area away from rodents.

(Yes - mice like to chew on PVC.)

First, thoroughly clean the

watercraft with fresh water to remove debris and let it dry and then empty the air
chambers. Remove all attachments. Now fold the tubes to the inner side of the boat
until the boat is the same width as the carry bag. Put the boat with all the parts
together in the carrying bag.

Fire Risk

All materials of this inflatable boat are flammable. Keep the boat away from open
flame and extreme heat.

Boating Tips

Always have U.S. Coast Guard approved life saving devices when using your
watercraft. Check local and state regulations for required safety gear.

Check that the boat is fully inflated prior to getting on the water.

Pay close attention to the weather conditions and if using an electric motor with
the XPW-240

(do not use a gas or fuel powered motor),

 check your battery

strength and anticipate consumption for the existing weather conditions.

If boating out of sight, do not forget important papers like maps or appropriate
licenses, as well as advising another person as to where you will be boating.

Always carry spare parts, repair kit, a first aid kit and the pump with you.

Make sure you do not exceed the maximum recommended number of persons,
load capacity, engine power and your experience navigating varying levels of
water conditions.
