DRYER USE
Starting Your Dryer
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read the
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS before operating this appliance.
This manual covers several different models. Your dryer may not have all of the cycles and
features described.
The following is a guide to starting your dryer. Please refer to specific sections of this manual
for more detailed information.
1.
Clean lint screen before each load. See “Cleaning the Lint Screen.”
2.
Place laundry in dryer and shut door.
3.
Press the POWER/CANCEL button then rotate the dial to select either a Sensor, Timed, or
Steam Cycle. The preset settings and drying time for the cycle chosen will be displayed.
To use a Sensor Cycle
Press the POWER/CANCEL button.
Rotate the dial to select a Sensor Cycle.
The default dryness setting is Normal in all Sensor Cycles. This dryness level will dry
most loads adequately using the least amount of energy. You can select a different
dryness level by pressing SENSOR CYCLES DRYNESS and choosing More Dry,
WARNING
Explosion Hazard
Keep flammable materials and vapors, such as
gasoline, away from dryer.
Do not dry anything that has ever had anything
flammable on it (even after washing).
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death,
explosion, or fire.
WARNING
Fire Hazard
No washer can completely remove oil.
Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on
it (including cooking oils).
Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic must be dried
on a clothesline or by using an Air Cycle.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death
or fire.
