The slave proxy option makes it possible for other BACnet devices to find the
connected MS/TP slave devices on the network without the slave addresses
in each device to be configured individually.
B) Router mode = non-default operation
After selecting "Non default operation" mode in the drop-down router mode
list on the configuration page BACnet > Settings, you can use
[Add]
in the
BACnet Datalink dialogue to define the following link types freely:
• IP
• MS/TP
• Ethernet
The dialogues for IP and MS/TP have already been described above. The link
type displayed in the drop-down list is provided for future upgrades.
The following dialogue is provided for the link type Ethernet:
Link type = Ethernet
Network number:
Defines the network number of the BACnet network for the datalink. The
value is in a range from 1 to 65,534.
