Stereo section (channels 3/4, 5/6 and 7/8)
(14) MIC input
Condenser microphones or dynamic microphones can be connected to
this symmetric XLR input. If a condenser microphone is used, the
required phantom power can be switched on by pressing the PHANTOM
button (43). Phantom power on the input is +24V if the mixer is powered
via the wall power supply, or +18V if the mixer is powered via batteries.
The input is suitable for symmetric and asymmetric microphones.
(15) L/MONO and R jack socket
These two sockets can be used for the LINE stereo signal input.
• L/MONO jack socket = left input
• R jack socket = right input
To connect a mono playback source, use the jack socket
marked L/MONO to supply the signal.
(16) LINE GAIN control
Use the LINE GAIN control to set the level of a LINE input. Adjust the control so that the CLIP LED (25) does not light
up or only lights up occasionally.
• Leftmost position = minimum level
• Rightmost position = maximum level
(17) MIC GAIN control
