Troubleshooting
By purchasing this mixer, you have acquired a state-of-the-art product which operates reliably. Nevertheless,
problems or malfunctions may occur. For this reason, the following is a description of how you can eliminate possible
malfunctions yourself.
Please observe the safety instructions!
No function after the POWER on/off switch at the back of the mixer has been switched on. The POWER LED
(45) does not light up.
• The mains plug has not been plugged into the mains socket properly.
• The low-voltage plug has not been properly connected to the POWER SUPPLY socket at the back of the device.
The POWER LED (45) lights up but no sound can be heard.
• No input signal.
• The input level has not been set properly.
• The MAIN control (47) is all the way down.
• The channel fader is all the way down.
• The BATT ON switch of the used channel is not switched on.
No signal can be heard although the recording level display (44) indicates a signal.
• The downstream device (amplifier) is not switched on or set incorrectly.
• The output is not connected properly or not connected at all.
A channel does not work.
• A connection cable has come off.
• The BAL control for stereo inputs or the PAN control for mono inputs on the mixer or the amplifier is set incorrectly.
The sound is distorted.
• The mixer output is incorrectly set or the connected amplifier is overdriven.
• The connected device does not meet the requirements for the connection or is not equipped with the required
connections.
• The input level is set incorrectly, the mixer is overdriven.
Repairs other than those described above should only be carried out by an authorised
specialist.
