SEEDER MAT MCK 2500 SX
7. Maintenance
This chapter describes how to perform ordinary maintenance and extraordinary
maintenance on the
SEEDER MAT MCK 2500 SX
.
Ordinary maintenance
refers to operations which must be carried out periodically.
As they do not require specific skills, they can be carried out by the users (operators,
etc.).
Extraordinary maintenance
refers to special operations made necessary by
mechanical or electrical failures. They require specific technical skills and should be
carried out only by qualified personnel (maintenance staff, etc.).
7.1 Ordinary maintenance
Ordinary maintenance consists in cleaning the computer.
Clean the computer using a damp cloth and a mild detergent to avoid erasing the
serigraphs on the panel.
!
Warning
Do not use pressure water jets.
Do not use abrasive products or solvents.
7.1.1 Protection fuses
The MCK2500SX computer is provided with SELF-RESETTING fuses for protection
against overcurrent faults on the sensors or row shut-off devices. In case of a failure,
the fuses cut the power supply to the sensors or the shut-off devices. If this occurs,
disconnect the power cable for a few minutes, remove the cause of the problem and
then reconnect the cable to the monitor.
7.1.2 How to protect the main connector
During prolonged periods of inactivity we recommend disconnecting the main signal
connector (see Figure 3 – Ref. <P> on page 10) and isolating it from the environment
with a nylon protection.
7.2 Extraordinary maintenance
!
Warning
Extraordinary maintenance must be carried out by authorized personnel
only
