Lifting and Installing the Indexer Assembly (continued)
Lift the indexer assembly and maneuver it over the vehicle assembly.
Ensure the 4 quarter twist locks are in the unlocked position. Slowly lower the
indexer assembly onto the four quarter twist locks on the vehicle assembly.
Once the indexer assembly is resting on the vehicle assembly, turn all 4 quarter
twist locks to the locked position and tighten the locking nuts on the twist locks and
pin the nuts in place.
Disconnect the lifting sling from the 4 lifting points and lift and move the lifting sling
away from the machine. Lower the lifting sling to ground and detach the lifting sling
from the overhead lifting equipment.
Connect the 2 power plugs and 2 data cables for the indexer assembly to the
vehicle assembly.
