Installation:
•
Unfold the tripod (8) and extrude the bridges for stabilizing it.
•
Attach the main tube (1) with the help of the tube retaining screw (7) to the azimuthally mount (6).
•
Insert angle prism (2) into the diagonal tube (4) and secure it with the retaining screw.
•
Attach one of the two eyepieces (9) to the angle prism (2) look through it and focus the picture.
Operation:
Use the azimuthally mount (6) for moving the telescope horizontally as well as vertically.
Under no condition use the telescope to look into the sun. In this case use the sun filter!!!
Optical Lens and Magnification:
The factor of magnification of a telescope depends on the focal length of the mirror (here: 360 mm) and the
focal length of the oculars (here: 20 mm or 6 mm).

If one of the Barlow lenses is placed in the eyepiece tube (3) the magnification rises by the factor 1.5 or 3
respectively:
18 x 1.5 = 27x ; 60 x 1.5 = 90x; 18 x 3 = 54x; 60 x 3 = 180x
By the combination of the eyepiece with a Barlow lens the picture will not only be magnified but also brought
into a sharper focus.
