4.4. OPERATING FUNCTIONS
Send an SMS to the number of the SIM inserted in MCZControl through your mobile phone. The message must
have a precise syntax which will be indicated below
(the modem is not Caps sensitive):
4.4.1 SMS MESSAGE COMMANDS

TESTING
The procedure is composed of the following phases:
•
If the received command is deemed valid the number of the sender is saved and updated and the serial
command to switch on/off or adjust is sent to the stove.
•
A received notification is sent to the number of the sender.
•
After 15 seconds a maximum of 3 status requests are sent to the stove, at 3 second intervals. When the
status of the stove corresponds to the received command, an SMS is sent confirming the execution of the
command. If the stove is in an alarm blocking status, the return SMS will inform of the presence and type
of alarm.
•
If the stove does not receive the command (for example due to network problems), the reply SMS is not
sent and the command is to be considered
NOT
executed.
•
The SMS received by the SIM card of MCZControl is deleted immediately after execution and the modem
returns to "a ready to receive SMS" status.
Between a command request (SMS) and the next, wait at least three minutes to allow the
modem to carry out the entire procedure set out by the communication protocol.

If the switch of the small emergency panel is set to OFF the stove will ignore commands
from the modem and hence the user will not receive an SMS confirming the execution of
the command.
