BATTERY WARM
Indications:
Yellow BAT WRM annunciator ON (battery internal temperature 57
°
C).
Conditions:
On ground
Do not attempt to start an engine on battery power with BAT WRM
annunciator ON.
NOTE
:
A battery warm condition results in the battery being disconnected from the
aircraft electrical system once a generator is placed on line. Generator power
alone is not sufficient to start an engine.
Procedures:
Utilize a GPU to start engines.
Power switch OFF after both generators are on line.
If BATT WARM annunciator remains ON for more than five minutes, shutdown
the aircraft.
Otherwise, continue flight.
Service or replace battery prior to next flight.
Conditions:
In flight
Procedures:
Power switch OFF.
Continue flight.
Service or replace battery prior to next flight.
