CONFIGURATION
Safe operation of this helicopter requires that it be flown
within established lateral
as well as longitudinal center of
gravity limits.
It is therefore imperative that lateral center of gravity
control be exercised.
All combinations of internal loadings are
permissible if gross weight, longitudinal,
and lateral
center of gravity considerations permit.
To determine the gross weight and center of gravity for a
given flight are within
limits, proceed as follows.
Obtain the basic weight and longitudinal moment from The Basic Weight and Bal
ance Record (Ref. Figure 6-4).
